By running the most up-to-date version of PutPlace, you’ll be getting the best performance from our service. We will occasionally notify you when a new version is available.

You can also check for a newer version of PutPlace by clicking on Help > Update in your client window. Then uninstall the client you’re using and install the updated version to start using great new features.

If you don’t think the PutPlace desktop software is operating correctly, uninstall it and then reinstall it again. Click here for the latest version of the software. Don’t worry, reinstalling the PutPlace desktop software will have no affect on any of the data you’ve already uploaded.

Yes, you need to use PutPlace across a broadband connection. This ensures that your content upload happens quickly and smoothly.

You can install the PutPlace client on as many devices as you like-that’s the whole idea!

PutPlace will help you manage all of your data, regardless of type, size or location.  Install the PutPlace client and then set up backups to your PutPlace account using your log in details.

Uninstalling PutPlace has no negative effect on your data or your backup. You can reinstall PutPlace from HERE. When you log in, PutPlace will automatically recognise your account.

Start by installing the PutPlace Desktop Software. This is a piece of software  that helps your computer talk to PutPlace. When you have the software installed, you will see a PutPlace icon at the bottom right hand side of your screen.  Right click this icon to open PutPlace - this is where you select the content you want PutPlace to backup. Here, you can add or remove files and folders, etc. PutPlace will automatically upload and continuously backup that data.

The PutPlace software is a small, but important piece of software that helps your computer talk to PutPlace. You use the client to tell PutPlace exactly what to do with the data you want PutPlace to ‘handle’.
