If you’ve selected a lot of data to backup, it will take a good chunk of time the first time you do a backup. Once the initial back up is complete, PutPlace only uploads new or revised files, so it’s fast and virtually unnoticeable.
Check the status of your upload by opening the client window (double click on the green PutPlace icon in the bottom right side of your screen). You’ll see the green status bar moving along, indicating that data is being uploaded.
You can also click on the history icon in the client window to see which files have been uploaded. In the client window, we also provide an estimate of how long it will take to complete the upload.
